We offer platters, appetizers, sandwiches and bagged lunches and dinner items. Custom menu items are available. Call us at 617-350-6996 between 7am and 3pm Mon-Sat to discuss your needs, or send us an email to catering@formaggiosouthend.com.

How to Order

  • Orders may be placed by phone 617-350-6996 or fax 617-357-6951 from 7am-3pm Monday-Saturday. Forty-eight hours prior notice is required, not including Sunday.
  • Courier deliveries can be priced upon request.
  • Due to ingredient price fluctuation, our prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Small platters serve 8-10 people, medium platters 15-20, and large platters 30-35 as an appetizer portion. Platters are garnished and ready to serve.
  • Appetizer and meal items are fully cooked and ready to reheat.

The “Classic” Cheese Platter

An assortment of cheeses handpicked by our expert Cheesemongers, garnished with fresh & dried fruits,  nuts and crackers. Cheeses are labeled with cheese name, type of milk & place of origin.

The “Connoisseur Cheese Platter $85 small / $145 medium / $200 large
A selection of the world’s finest cheeses, including many of our exclusive imports. Expect stronger &  more complex flavors. Accompanied by fresh & dried fruits, nuts & crackers. Cheeses are labeled with cheese name, type of milk and place of origin.

Charcuterie Platter
$65 small/ $95 medium /$160 large
An assortments of meats including house-made pâtés, prosciutto slices, smoked speck, and salami. Garnished with cornichons and whole-grain mustard and served with sliced baguette.

Cheese and Meat Platter $95 (Serves approximately 15-20 people)
This platter is best for small gatherings where you'd like a smaller amount of cheese served with sliced prosciutto and salami.

Italian Antipasto Platter $80 medium/ $145 large
A hearty platter piled with an assortment of roasted vegetables, marinated artichokes, sliced salami, Prosciutto di Parma, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers and our house olive mix. Sliced focaccia is included for serving. (Also available vegetarian)

French Sampler $90 medium, $155 large
A selection of French cheeses, housemade pate de campagne and sliced saucisson sec served with Nicoise olives, French cornichons and sliced baguette.

Spanish Sampler $95 (serves approximately 20 people)
A hearty platter piled with Spanish delicacies including two Spanish cheeses, sliced Jamon Serrano, authentic chorizo, toasted Marcona almonds, olives, quince paste and sliced baguette.

Smoked Salmon Platter
$110 (Feeds 20 people as an appetizer portion)
One pound of hand-sliced Scottish smoked salmon from Daniel Boulud. Garnished with brown bread, hard-boiled eggs, capers, chopped red onion, sliced cucumber, lemon and dilled cream cheese. Perfect for brunch.

Middle Eastern Mezze Platter $50 medium/ $95 large
Hummus, Baba Ghanoush and Muhammara spreads are surrounded by mixed marinated olives and stuffed grape leaves and accompanied by a basket of crispy pita chips for dipping. Vegetarian.

Fresh Fruit Platter $40 Small, $75 Medium, $95 Large

A beautiful assortment of seasonal fruits; organic whenever possible. Excellent for a brunch gathering or as an accompaniment to a cheese platter. 

The Classic Deli Platter $9.95 per person

Sliced turkey, roast beef, ham, salami, provoline and swiss cheese arranged on a platter for "make your own" sandwiches, along with mustard, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and sliced bread. 

Garden Crudité Platter $45 small/ $80 medium / $100 large
The freshest vegetables available, organic whenever possible, usually including haricots vert, celery, asparagus, carrots, cherry tomatoes and bell peppers. Served with a garlic parmesan crème frâiche dip.

Assorted Sandwich Platter $8.50 per person
A variety of our hearty sandwiches halved and arranged on a platter, and garnished with fresh vegetables. Add JP’s chips for an extra .65 per person. Add bottled water for $1 per person or sodas for $2.50 per person.


Bag Lunches

Brown Bag Lunches, $10.95 per person
Each bag contains a sandwich, potato chips, fresh fruit and a cookie or bar. A variety of sandwich options are available.

Our irresistable bite-sized savory cheese puffs. Perfect with Champagne! 

Goat Cheese Tarts $12 per dozen
Goat cheese soufflé and caramelized onion baked in crisp filo crusts. Vegetarian or Prosciutto.

Brie en Croûte $95 serves 15, $125 serves 30

French Brie topped with a seasonal fruit conserve, wrapped in all-butter puff pastry, and baked until golden brown. Served with a side of Baguette. 

Turkish-Spiced Turkey Meatballs $24 per dozen 

Fresh ground turkey is seasoned with Turkish spices shaped into bite-sized meatballs, and roasated in the traditional Turkish style. Savory, spicy, and delicious! Served with a cucumber and mint yogurt sauce. 

Mini Housemade Crab Cakes by the pound at market price
Delicately seasoned crab cakes ready to re-heat.

Blue Cheese Stuffed Figs or Dates $24 per Dozen
Dried figs or dates filled with rich blue cheese and caramelized walnuts. Fresh figs available in season at market price.

Arugula or meslun mix in a single-serving container with sliced peppers, cucumber, tomato, and housemade vinaigrette on the side. 

Pasta Salad Starts at $7.95 per pound

We mix organic white or whole wheat pasta with your choice of dressing and toppings. 

Potato Salad Starts at $7.95 per pound

Fingerling potatoes are dressed to you liking and combined with seasonal vegetables.

We offer a 10% case discount on all wines and beers. Our expert staff is on hand every day to help you pair wines or beers with your catering order, and we will be happy to chill beverages for you.
